A complete CAT B laboratory fit out, transforming the space into a modern, functional environment designed to support specialist operations while providing an exceptional workplace for staff. Working as part of an integrated delivery team, we completed a comprehensive package of mechanical, electrical, including new fan coil units, upgraded ventilation systems, Building Management System (BMS) integration, fire safety installations, structured data cabling, and bespoke feature lighting throughout the facility. A standout feature of the project is the bespoke living feature wall, introducing natural greenery into the laboratory environment to enhance wellbeing, improve aesthetics and create a welcoming space for employees and visitors alike. The lighting design was delivered in collaboration with our trusted partner, Clara Lighting, helping to create a bright, efficient, and contemporary working environment. This project demonstrates JCB Interiors’ ability to deliver technically demanding laboratory and specialist fit-out projects, combining innovative design, coordinated building services and high-quality workmanship to create spaces that are practical, compliant, and built for the future.
