Curtis Zendel-Ellis
Managing Director, JCB Interiors Ltd
With over 19 years’ experience in the construction industry covering all aspects of project delivery, Curtis is the project lead that pulls everything together and takes ultimate accountability for the results of the business. Curtis acts as the main point of contact for clients from start to finish to ensure that the project runs smoothly and meets our clients’ vision. He oversees delivery and drives information flow and decision making to ensure the project remains on programme.
Steve Sedman
Head of design
Steve brings over 30 years of experience in commercial design and build, combining creative leadership with deep technical expertise. As Head of Design, he shapes design strategy and leads multidisciplinary teams to translate bold concepts into robust, buildable solutions.
Operating at the intersection of creativity and delivery, Steve champions strong architectural language, technical excellence, and commercially sound outcomes from concept through construction.
Titi-Marian Sarbu
Site Manager, JCB Interiors Ltd
With over 8 years of experience in office fit outs managing projects over £2m Titi is experienced, friendly and has a great can do attitude. Titi has all the attributes making him a top quality reliable site manager. His friendly and personal approach to every project ensures we all work together as a team and puts the clients interest at the forefront of everything we are trying to achieve.
Jeff Buckland
Company Director, JCB and Son Ltd
Jeff has been in the industry for over 46 years and is still going strong. JCB is a family business that is based on simple principles of not letting any customer down big or small. Jeff has led the growth of our electrical business in the commercial and industrial sectors with our geographical footprint covering the UK and even abroad if required.
Michael Chandler
Managing Director, JCB and Son Ltd
Michael has over 16 years’ experience in the construction industry having started at the age of 16. He holds an industrial design degree where he developed his engineering skills. Michael is the Managing Director for JCB and Son, JCB Mechanical and JCB Fire, primarily specialising in the electrical side of the business. He leads the sales and projects team.
Michael covers all aspects of the business from finance to project management to the design and CAD elements, as well as finalising all project estimations for the electrical division.
Paul Harvey
Managing Director, JCB Mechanical Ltd
Paul has over 20 years’ experience working in the mechanical and engineering industry. He started as a commercial gas engineer and has a wealth of experience in design and delivering a multitude of projects, from large retail and industrial projects, to smaller restaurant and office projects for various entrepreneurs and clients.
Paul has an excellent understanding of all aspects of M&E projects, delivered with a “can do” attitude to ensure all our clients are kept informed regarding the build process, timings and costings throughout. He liaises closely with all of our main contractors and clients to make sure they feel valued and receive a responsive service for each and every project we deliver.
David James
Director, JCB Facilities Ltd
David has over 20 years’ experience working in the electrical and facilities management industry. Having started out as an electrician, David moved to London and developed a career in facilities management and has run multiple accounts for CBRE in the heritage sector.
He has studied building services engineering and has also managed some complex and unique projects including a biomass powerstation and pelleting plant. He is now able to utilise his experience and combine multiple trades in order support our customers and deliver a range of projects to a high standard.
Grant Wheeler
General Manager, JCB Fire Ltd
With over 30 years’ experience of working in the fire alarm industry, Grant has a wealth of knowledge working with many different systems and products. Over the years he has adopted a ‘hands on’ approach to working, from design conception to final project delivery and building relationships with individual clients on a personal level.
Michael Amadi
Director, JCB Renewables Ltd
Michael has over 15 years’ experience in sales and project management. Originally working in the Electrical/PV distribution sector he transitioned to the construction sector and is now Director of JCB Renewables which establishes our commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
Specialising in LED lighting, EV charger and PV installations, JCB Renewables are passionate about the transition to clean energy and reducing the global effects of climate change.
Trevor Grundelingh
Director, JCB Passive Fire Ltd
Trevor brings over 30 years of mechanical and electrical engineering experience, supported by an extensive background in the mining, railway, and construction sectors. His career is defined by an ability to successfully navigate complex challenges across both commercial and residential environments.
With deep expertise in passive fire protection and a strong focus on risk management, Trevor applies industry-leading project management practices and innovative strategies to streamline operations and deliver reliable outcomes.
He is committed to maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and seamless collaboration throughout every project.
Trevor’s dedication to quality assurance upholding industry standards, safety protocols, and exceptional craftsmanship drives consistent, high standard results from initial planning through to project completion.
Daniel Smith
Finance Director
Dan brings over a decade of experience as a finance professional within the construction industry, with a strong background in managing internal finance functions across complex projects.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2019 while working at the Berkeley Group, where he served as Finance Manager on a landmark development with a gross development value (GDV) of over £500 million. During this time, Dan was primarily charged with managing and forecasting budgets, profit, and cash flows. He also worked closely with key departments including commercial, build, sales, marketing, and customer services, gaining a deep understanding of cross-functional operations.
Dan now applies this breadth of experience to his role within the JCB Group.
