Gravity Edge

JCB Interiors was appointed to design and deliver Gravity Edge’s new office environment, creating a modern, welcoming workspace that enhances the customer experience while supporting the operational requirements of a live data centre. Working within a 24/7 operational facility required meticulous planning and coordination. Every stage of the project was carefully managed to ensure critical business operations, including the reception and operations rooms, remained fully functional throughout the works. Close collaboration with the on site teams enabled a seamless phased delivery with minimal disruption. As part of the project, previously redundant office space was brought back into use, requiring structural alterations including a knock through between areas and changes in floor levels with the installation of new stairs and accessibility ramps. These modifications created a cohesive, functional workspace while maximising the available footprint. The new customer experience centre was transformed by replacing the existing external windows with full height glazing, significantly increasing natural light and creating a bright, contemporary environment for both visitors and staff. The project also included the installation of modern meeting rooms equipped with integrated audio visual systems and video conferencing facilities, together with the supply and installation of all furniture, delivering a complete turnkey office fit out solution. The completed workspace provides Gravity Edge with a high quality, future ready office environment that reflects its brand, enhances collaboration, and creates an impressive first impression for customers.
